GOOD-BYE


On May 25th, Alejandro and Gloria Johnson
and SAMS intern, Chris Easley, left for the U.S.
The children from both of the Casas Hogares
come to the airport to say good-bye...

SAN JOSE DESPEDIDA FOR THE JOHNSONS

Sandy and Gloria Johnson, SAMS missionaries, are returning 
to the U.S.the end of May, and the children bid them farewell!

The children then present Tio Alejandro and Tia Gloria
with handmade cards each one especially made...


Plus they received beautiful hand knit chullos


And the Johnsons' visiting son and daughter-in-law,
Ben and Jinah, were there to share in the goodbye

Sad News

It is with great sadness that we report that Blanco, the beloved dog of Sagrada Familia was struck and killed instantly by a truck on Maundy Thursday in the morning just a half block from San Lucas Church. 
Martha saw it happen from the roof of the Casa Hogar.

Shown here with Katiuska, he was much loved by all the teens. 

Blanco especially warmed up to Tio Alejandro.
They were good buddies.
